Speaking of trees, and birds, and bugs ……reminds me of the upcoming local celebration of all things “outdoors,” Wild Lapeer.
Technically, I guess it’s an Earth Day event. This will be the sixth annual Wild Lapeer. Seems like it encompasses more and more neat things every year. As the site proclaims, it’s “all things outdoor about Lapeer County, including (but not limited to) environmental issues, outdoor recreation, and locally grown foods.”
I remember one year it snowed for Wild Lapeer, but I’m expecting sunshine this year. Wouldn’t it be neat if we had county bike paths, and we could ride into/out of town?
This year’s Wild Lapeer is on April 25, from 10-4, in the vicinity of the historic courthouse.
Cool. Looking forward to it.
